The blower motor for the HVAC stuff stays on whenever I turn the key to the ON position. I was curious as to where I should start looking as to why. Moving the AC/heater controls over doesn't seem to change anything, other than whether or not the compressor comes on. Wiring diagrams would of course help as well.
It does seem odd...but true. There have been a number of threads in which people have asked how to disconnect the low-speed fan.
But just to illustrate my point here is a pic. I do not have A/C but the basic principles are the same. You can turn the heat off. As well heater/defrost. But the fan blower switch has no "off" position. Only low, medium and high.
