Serial Number help

Is this a mistake or is my book wrong?It shows CHB but should be CRK according to a manual I have. The serial number on the lower part of pad matches the vin. 1975 ,350, Auto

It's inaccurate AND incomplete - missing 7 of the 15 engine codes for that year model and those HP numbers aren't accurate.

As stated above...it is missing a bunch of codes and the power ratings are a mystery....
