I'm ordering new Timken rear bearings today and the parts guy tells me the outer bearing is one piece? (race and bearing together?) i've already knocked out the races from the spindle housing
Am I ordering the right ones? or am I at the wrong parts store?

Would anyone have the part numbers?
Thanks for your help
Just did this last week. Inner and outer bearings are the same style. Bearing and a matching race to install. No one piece in my origial setup or the replacement.
Part number for the outer rear wheel bearing is "Set 5". Contains one bearing and one race. Keep the bearing, shoot the counter guy.

Since I worked part time for Advance Auto Parts, after I retired from full time work, I can understand the confusion. The type of wheel bearings used in a C-3, are not really familiar parts to the counter guys of today, who are mostly younger guys. The "new guys" are used to seeing integrated "hub bearings". A C-3, even the newest one, an '82, is a 34 years old car, and many of the counter guys in the store I worked in, were in their mid-late 20s. They're just not familiar with parts for older cars.
