I've never seen these headlights on a C3 besides a custom one. Were these factory or another custom 70's or 80's thing done to my vette? I like the circle lights better but at least the headlights I got work :yesnod:

I have square headlights...but my Vette is custom. There were no stock C3's with square headlights...
Re: DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE SQUARE HEADLIGHTS? (79vetteL82)
there is a conversion kit available to go from round to square lights, includes the bracketery and new surround pieces, to go around the lights. my neighbor had these on his 74, now sold and gone. i think Ecklers offered this kit at one time. i have thought about changing, because there are no modern lighting options available in the round lights. at least i couldn't find any 2 yrs ago. my old halogens weren't very bright(kinda yellow so i looked for something different, found zip, nada, nothing), so settled on new versions of what i already had.

There's a '77 in our neighborhood that has the rectangular headlights in a normal-looking pop-up configuration.
Gary79, you should be able to find European-style halogens. I'm pretty sure Hella makes halogens (for "off-road" use, naturally). But I've got a perfectly decent set of GE halogens that do a good job of lighting up the night -- but I had to adjust them as high as the screws would allow! :yesnod:
