I have rebuilt my front end for the most part as follows:
Steeroids
Proshock C200/SR375 coilover conversion
all new bushings ( a arm, stabilizer with ends )
new upper/lower ball joints
The front was completely disassembled and reassembled, torqued to specs, checked and rechecked along with tire pressures.
Here is the problem:
The ride height on the drivers side is 1" lower than the passenger side in the front. ground to fender edge drivers side is 25 7/8, passenger side is 26 1/2. dimension from the frame rails is off by the same amount back to front and side to side.
Both coilovers are installed correctly and adjusted equally. I am at a total loss as to what this might be. I don't care for the idea of taking it to a shop at all.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
is it possible to have the stabilizer bar mounts and the end bushings too tight?
I do not have experience with coilover set up, but I installed the 550 front springs on mine which dropped it about 1" or 1.25 " I do not think I am exactly dead even on both sides, probably off by a little, but I do know with all the AC equipment/heater core being on the pass side, I think..... that extra weight would be a little different from driver side.
You will probably have to have different settings each side to get an exact even ride height on both sides.
