No electric power except
1974 convertible, 350, 4spd. Went to back it out of the garage this a.m. Hadn't run in a couple of days. Did everything I was supposed to in the starting sequence. Coughed (the engine, not me) once just as usual. Cranked it again. Nothing. Everything quit. No exterior lights, no horn, no interior lights, no radio, no clock, no turn signals, no dash lights, no gauges, no starter. Nothing. All fuses good. With key on/off, there is power to the alternator and starter. Battery ground cable continuity checks good thru the block. I'm beginning to think possibly this may be a Jim Shea area of expertise. Before I tear into the steering column, any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day, Bill

Thanks to the "search" feature I found my answer. A fusible link attached to the left inner fender had shorted out against a brake line and completely wiped out the cockpit electronics. Temporarily bypassed and everything back to normal. I've found 16, 18 gauge fuses at local parts houses and a 20 gauge thru Amazon. Any suggestions? Thanks and have a wonnerful week, Bill

Replace with same gauge and length, solder splice,heat shrink and enjoy.
Didn't see you said fuses, replace with fusible wiring.
