4 whieel allignment
Does anyone in the Harrisburg, Pa area know of a good alignment shop.
Would all alignment shops know if the shims need added or removed.
Might be a stupid question..

If you don't mind driving across the river to mechanicsburg, there is a Firestone on the Carlisle pike. Ask for Chris stains, he is a real good mechanic and he knows these older cars well. He owns a few 60's and 70's camaro's and firebirds. He'll know how to align your corvette but you may want to take your own shims, especially the rear shims. Forget it though if your trailing arms have never been serviced and the shims are rusted to the bushing.

I'd think it's hit or miss as to whether an alignment shop is competent to do a rear wheel alignment.
Consider that the 63-82 rear suspension design likely ended before most of the employees were born.
Hopefully someone from your area will come along with a suggestion.

That's crazy, there are many shops that have the equipment and people on staff that can align these vehicles. Check around your area as well as restoration shops and also auto body shops. Don't be affraid to ask questions.

You could also try The Tire Mart on Jonestown Rd. I have heard good things about their alignment people and have bought tires for our DD's there many times.
