I know the headlight vacuum is supplied to one of those two connectors on that gray thing. But what else connects to it?? This is the last piece I need to finish my vacuum set up and the manual only shows it to be a single connection instead of a duel. It a 82'
That appears to be a tempature-action vacuum switch: manifold vacuum at operating temp; no vacuum when cold. Not sure what that was hooked to for '82, but likely something in the emissions control system.
The headlamps are fed from a reservoir (tank, tube, etc), rather than directly from the manifold. Basically, manifold vacuum to a one-way check valve, to the reservoir tank. That keeps a fixed level of vacuum available for the headlamps and heater/A/C controls. Vacuum line is then run from tank to vacuum relays for headlamps. You can connect the relays directly to you manifold, but the headlamps will actuate oddly at times; and it might affect engine a bit when you actuate the lamps.

That is the vacuum source for all the vacuum accessories, A/C, headlights, cruise etc.
The one outlet goes to the headlight resovoir, the other supplies the accessories through a filter, and check valve.
