Can anyone tell me if the 74 454 has a mounting plate for the fuel pump?
i purchased the ones you see everywhere, but it will not fit.
If i do need one i need the diamond shaped mounting plate, not the rectangle shaped one.

Hi bb,
I believe that while 350 cu.in. engines use a mounting plate, 454 cu.in. engines only use a gasket between the fuel pump and the block's flange.
The proper fuel pump mounting is shown in the AIM section for the 454 option.
