Default Dealer Info

If those numbers are correct I don't have 05 658 in my database. I have
655 and 660, which means your Dealer most likely begins with a "P" as is in Kansas or Missouri. Remote chance of Iowa.

Sorry,
Paul

Default Dealer info

Bill:
Zone 95 Dealer 370:
Jack McGee Chevrolet-Oldsmobile LTD
1053 Clonsilla Ave
Peterborough, Ontario
Looks like this dealer still exists:
http://www.jackmcgee.com/
Just in case you are not aware, for cars built or sold in Canada, you can get a wealth of information through Vintage Vehicle Services: Dealer, Engine code, all options, build date etc:
https://www.vintagevehicleservices.com/

Good Luck,
Paul

Default Dealer

I do not have 05 658 in my data base. I have 05: 655, 660 and 668. Double check to make sure it's not 668, sometimes these are very hard to read.

Default Info

I do not have any information by VIN number, I just have a database of Dealer Zones, Codes and names that I update pretty regularly.

BTW I owned a 1966 SS back in the 70's and it was a girl getter. Originally a 396 BB car but was a 350 sb car while I owned it. Nice car but now I can't recall why I sold it. I think it was had problems I couldn't deal with at the time.

Well what kind of information do you need to look up shipping data for my '74 vette? Or what kind of information do you have for my car? I found my build sheet but its only half there now and most is eligible. I can PM you the VIN but thats mostly all I have.

Here ya go:

14 324 is Loving Chevrolet, 1273 East West Highway, Silver Spring MD

One of my contacts had a build sheet with this info. So 14-323. 324 and 325 were all Loving Chevrolet

Greg,
Nothing in my data base but as stated it's going to be a Chevrolet Division Office or Zone and they gave you Michigan also as you already know. Let me look for any old ads for a Division Office in MI

Default Mich Office

Only mention I see if a Chevrolet division office, this is a 1965 ad. You could easily get with the library and find out an exact address but there is never mention of zones and codes in these articles. Have to just keep a look out until a document surfaces with that zone and code....
Ad info: Detroit Free Press
Detroit, Michigan

Paul, if you are still able to assist in providing additional details where the NCRS shipping report is lacking...
1965 Corvette
Production Date: 11/9/1964
Dealer code: 209
Zone: 44
Name and location for the dealer was:
No Data-begins with H
MI/OH

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Paul, this is the first time I've seen this thread, and what a nice thing you are doing!! Any chance you can help on mine?
  • GM production date: 8/8/1968
  • Original delivery dealer code; 686; Zone; 13
  • Name and location for the dealer: 'No data - Begins with R. May be Riehle Chev in Greensboro, PA PA/OH'
Really appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks! Paul
