Default 68 Flasher relay location

Can someone tell me where the flasher relay is on a 68 Convertible. The hazard relay is beside the fuse panel drivers side. There is no relay on the passenger side. Before I start pulling the dash and console out it would be great if someone could let me know.
When I put the blinkers on, they just stay on, they do not flash. Thanks.

On 70 - 71 it's just behind the dash pad on the passenger side. A clip on the heater holds the flasher unit. You can see it from the floor.

Hi,
I believe that early 68 model year cars have the flasher under the center console quite far forward.
Later I believe it's in the area B72 suggests but the clip that holds the flasher is attached to the bottom edge of the lower dash pad on non ac cars. On a/c cars it's sometimes attached to the a/c ductwork.
Regards,
Alan

Look behind the pad here.

on my early 68 it is under the console in the radio area, probably supposed to be behind the small knee pad at the front but mine is just loose in that area. I need to relocate it one of these days...

Thanks for that. I think I'll pull the console out and take a look. It's definitely not on the passenger side near the heater. I don't have air cond and I am missing my heater duct tubing on both sides, so I can see pretty clear in there.

Hi 69,
Here's the location of the flasher unit and the capacitor for the radio on my 71.
You can see the clip that holds it is mounted to the dash pad.
Regards,
Alan

The camera is point the same way the arrow is in my first picture.

On my 68 it was located under the shifter console. I had to move it behind the lower right dash pad after I replaced the dash harness. My car is a January build and the AIM shows it behind the lower right dash pad. The sheet shows it as a revision in February 68.

Early 68s have a clip that it attaches to under the front of the console under the radio. If you remove the passenger radio panel you can reach in and unclip it, then pull it nto view.

To the left of the wiper realy which is rectangular

You shouldnt have to pull the console. My wires went to the right but yours maybe on the left. You. An pull the drivers radio access as well to see where the wires will let it come out.

Part of the joy of the early 68s. The AIM doesnt always show it correctly for our cars. Id you start pulling stuff and it was previously put together correctly, take.pictures. the behind the dash harness goes from bottom to top across the column, no other years do that that ive heard of

When I got my new wiring harness, the length of the wires and a blank hole on the back of the passenger dash panel for the clip seemed to indicate it went there, as did the location on the AIM. The PO had it just dangling behind the dash.

Thanks to every one who responded. Very helpful. I found the flasher relay under the center
console, under the cigarette lighter/ashtray. I replaced it and now the blinkers are working again.
