Default Headlight leakage

How much leakage is acceptable on the actuators? When I pump up it leaks down pretty steady. I made a video but having trouble posting it. Now when I hold my finger over the port and push no real movement is noticed

Hi C,
Are you asking about the actuator itself?….. none, it should hold vacuum.
The headlight system?…. several hours, or even over night.
On a system that's working properly even after a few days the headlight should operate normally because the engine supplies full vacuum to the 'control' side of the system FIRST, so the headlights stay where they are as the vacuum builds up.
Regards,
Alan

The actuator itself Alan. I'm testing 3 trying to find a good one all leak down pretty steady. I'm guessing I'm questioning my test results.

Hi C,
I believe the preferred test is:
Block the pipe on the 'red' side of the actuator and put your vacuum pump/gauge on the 'green' side pipe. The vacuum should hold steady. If it drops the internal diaphragm is leaking.
Then block the 'green' side pipe and put your vacuum pump/gauge on 'red' side. The vacuum should hold steady. If the vacuum stayed steady in the first test but leaks now the rear sealing grommet for the actuator rod is leaking.
All this takes for granted that the hose connections from the pump to actuator, and on the unused pipes on the actuators, are good seals.
Regards,
Alan

Yes Mity vac holds when plugged. Just retested when I clamp hose it holds about 1/4" from fitting on actuator .
