Installing wiper actuator- dimensions ?

Default Installing wiper actuator- dimensions ?
Restored my wiper vacuum seals & now want to re-install the actuator. Of course, I did not measure the threaded distance for the lock nut before replacing the seal. How do I know how far the actuator rod should be inserted into the long nut to allow correct opening & closing of the door ?

The 'Assembly Instruction Manual' almost always has the answer.
