I had the body off and the chassis completely apart. reconditioned the chassis, brake/fuel lines and springs and bushings. it seems to sit low on drivers front and high on pass rear. and high in general in the rear. no alignment done yet. not sure how many leafs are on the r/spring. is the alignment shop my first stop or should I make some adjustments myself. not many can balance a damn tire today.

Hi b,
Yes it appears something is going on with the rear suspension with the wheel/tire tilted to that degree AND the high ride height. The eccentric bolts at the strut rod's inner ends control that camber.
The ride height indicated on the TRIM HEIGHT sheet in the AIM indicates a dimension of just about 28" from the ground to the center of the wheel arch both at the front and rear.
Tire size affects this dimension since it's based on a F70-15 tire.
Can you have someone send you those dimensions presently and also a picture (or 2 or 3) of the rear suspension taken from behind and below?
After seeing them perhaps someone can offer some advice on how to proceed.
Regards,
Alan

Hi b,
Car looks very nice in the picture!
It must be difficult for you to be away from it.
Yes the strut rod adjustment can have an affect on ride height as can new rubber bushings on the spring to t-arm bolts.

Alan

HOT ROD ENOUGH. just got the factory radio with correct tag. found the correct base motor valve covers. date stamped smog pump, etc. the NCRS book is a BIG help as well as you guys on this forum. again thanks for your patience and time.
