Where are the attach points for these brackets

Where are the attach points for these brackets

I have never been able to find a good illustration showing where these brackets attach on the engine side. They almost look like they line up with bolts that hold the intake manifold; surely you don't take out those two bolts to attach these brackets? Then just reinstall the two bolts? Thanks!

They should be the intake manifold bolts

Hi k,
Here're the bracket locations on a sb.
On a small block the positions of the brackets is important so that the distributor shield clears the wiper motor/washer pump, and the right side bracket clears the vacuum advance can.

Right side.. last intake bolt.

Left side… next to last intake bolt.
