Help picking radiator hoses
Should be easy but I have some mods. I'd like GM part # hoses for some originality...have a 69 original small block car, but has a BB in it now and a Be Cool radiator. Should I try small block hoses upper and lower or BB set? Is BB water pump outlet the same dia as sb? Obviously the water neck is the same dia.

If I had to do it over again Id call Summit see if they carry Samco or other silicone hoses. Most repops or store hoses are thin and arent that great. On the bypass hose they (brands) looked weak managed to find one at the dealer (had to cut it down). If yo uuse silicone use the smooth clamps not the serrated

Hi 68,
How is the aftermarket radiator is described? For a sb or bb?
If it's described as a 'replacement' for a bb radiator, and the engine is now a bb, then I'd think the GM bb hoses would fit.
Regards,
Alan
Both the Paragon Reproduction and Dr.R catalogues have pretty good drawings and photos of hoses and descriptions of what they fit.
