Default Kick Panels

I need help identifying whether a 1969-1977 kick panel is OEM, NOS, or repro. Also can a reproduction have a GM part number (in this case #3964114 with an R stamped on back side)? Thanks

Could be difficult. Post pics of what you have.

Possibly, depending on who made the reproduction.

Hi Btd,
The part number you posted is the part number listed for the right side kick panel in the 71 AIM.
The last digit 4 being an 'even' digit indicates a right side part.
The left side part number is the same except that it ends in 3, an 'odd' digit, indicating a left side part.
Although the kick panels are 'interchangeable' from 68-77, they did vary in the configuration of the grills and slots as the model years went by.
Also, at least in some of the earlier years, the right side panel was quite crudely cut for use on cars with a/c.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the information. I saw some kick panels for sale with GM part numbers and was curious as to whether reproductions could include the same numbers on their products. Also, I would appreciate any pictures displaying the back side of an OEM passenger side kick panel without the A/C cuts. Thanks again Alan for the pics posted.
