Here is my Summit Carb 650CFM on a Summit manifold stage II, my hood is a L88 and my 2" Air Cleaner fits under the hood.

I have a very similar intake (ProComp) that I still have from my small block if you (or anyone else) are interested.

I have the GM Fastburn heads, they use the same raised ports and bolt pattern as the Vortecs.
