in my 1973 Corvette stingray the driver side window won't roll up (it doesn't have power. I checked my switch & it's good. & I checked the power to the switch & the power is there. I bought a new power window motor & plugged it in but that also didn't fix it. what else could my problem be?
My $$$ would be on a broken wire at the door. I've had this same problem. Pull the accordion boot off between the door and the body and give the wires a little tug in both directions. More than likely that's the problem.

I tend to agree. I haven't had this exact problem with my c3, but I did with my c5, the connections in that plug, get loose.
I doubt the relay would only leave one door bad, but I could be wrong.
Keep your original motor if you haven't trashed it or used it as a core, not sure if there is a core charge on window motors.
I recently worked on one that had power to the motor but it was a really dirty connector. Once I cleaned it...the window worked. that is assuming that you have power at the connector.
I had the same issue with my '73 when I brought it home. I tried to roll down the window and nothing. I went through the system and found all the electrical circuits were good. I was about to order the new motor when I accidentally hit the switch the wrong way and found that Bubba had installed the drivers side window switch upside down. It only cost me about two hours of wasted time. Good luck.

I've thought about checking the door I just never got to it haha i'll definitely check that now! Thank you!
Well, it sounds like Bubba is learning. At least on your '73 he installed them both upside down
Folks,
I'm assuming upside down means pushing the switch forward or down, the window operates UP, and pulling the switch back or up, the window operates DOWN.
