Time to do the hard top ,the headliner is not that bad but the outside
Window trim has one piece that should be repositioned does anyone
Know how that aluminum trim is fastened? Glue ? I don't know
Thanks again
Hi JB,
The trim around the rear window in the hardtop is held in place by clips that are held in place with very small screws.
In the AIM, the Hardtop Option pages, UPC C07, show in detail how the top is assembled.
Try looking at Sheet A3 in particular for the glass trim installation.
I believe you'll find the window trim is polished stainless steel.
Regards,
Alan

I'll look again .
I just went out and looked and sure enough it was there.
It looks like those screws are not accessible with the glass in .
I'll have to figure something else to do to get the molding down
Where it belongs, thanks again
Hi JB,
Are some of the clips damaged or missing?
Is that what's causing the trim situation?
Regards,
Alan
I am not seeing any clips, the glass is still in . The left and right end
Are not pulled down it seems like the screws are about 3 " from
Each end . I will take some pics tonight . The top has 3 coats of
Different color Black, yellow and red. I took a razor blade scraper and
Got 2 coats off . I will leave the bottom coat for Carl at the body shop.

the to picture looks like they modified the trim. it hould go down into that gap. But yes someone could fill that. I found out that the front windshield upper trim clips can be used on the rear window
