700r4 dust cover.

Dust cover th700r4 to sbc

hey guys. The dust cover I have doesn't fit. Anyone had any luck with a particular brand / mode? Thanks in advance.

The truth is that i never had the dust cover on my 700R4 for 20 years. Heat is the problem and more air is less heat. I don't drive on many dirt roads............... so my dust cover went in the metal bin

I would wipe it out if i was under checking things

if you want, mr gasket 5115, works on mine, strange threads in tranny though, i might have used nuts on the bolts, kinda forget

You just need an inspection cover for a 700-R4. They are plastic, can be ordered from most of the Corvette aftermarket suppliers; you can also find them at most junk yards (that have old cars).
