Does someone have a hydroboost without power steering ?
i ask that, because valve covers i want are to big with my mastervac. So, i would like relace mastervac by a hydroboost but i haven't power steering.
is it possible ?
Does anyone do it ?
Is it possible? Yes. Has anyone else done it? I doubt it.
That's a lot of work/plumbing/expense for a valve cover.
Just go with a manual brake set up, or perhaps a smaller vacuum booster.
Is there a reason you can not install a power steering pump on the engine???
The only option I can see is to contact the Hydroboost manufacturer and find out the pressure requirements for the hydroboost and then you would have to install an electric pump and reservoir so it could possibly work.
I can understand and relate to your dilemma. BEEN THERE many times in the past.
