Not having room for a full 2 post lift in my garage the recent ad for Quick Jacks on TV got my attention to the point that I purchased it. The quick Jacks are 2 separate hydraulic operated platforms that are placed under the frame and raise the car app. 20". The kit arrives in app. 5 days and can be assembled in about 2 hours. It operates off of 110V, it is portable in that the 2 platforms are easily moved about. It is a very good quality product and performs as advertized. I have a 78 Pace Car and it is perfect for what i needed. It can be pushed together and left so the car can drive over it. It has a collapsed height of 3". Just pull the car in over the platforms, Slide the platforms under the chassis and raise the car up. If you race they are portable. Just need 110v. Strongly recommend them. $1300 complete
Hi,
Ive been very pleased with my Quick Jack that Santa brought me a year ago.
I don't have the height for a 2 post lift. And, since I like to store and work on my car with the wheels off, a 4 post lift isn't quite the answer either.
The 2 QJ heights, about 16" and 20", are just about right for working from a creeper. Because of the QJ's size, shape, and placement, the access to almost everything but the rocker channels is very easy.
So Far… So Good.

Alan
The jack stands are sitting there so can reach them from under the car if I want to use them to prop something up while I'm working..
Hi Alan,
Beautiful car, and a maticulous restoration.
The car is one thing but just look at that gorgeous hardwood floor!
C'mon Alan, you don't use a creeper under there do you really!
If you do I'll be it has small inflatable rubber mini tires!
Hi Jimmy,
Nice to speak to you!
The floor is actually laminated material. (It works for me because my restoration days are pretty much behind me, can't recommend it for a normal person!) The creeper I use has what appear to be 'poly' wheels on it so they don't damage the floor.
I do have to be careful with the floor jack and some of the jack stands I use though.
Happy Easter!
Regards,
Alan
Just finished looking at their site, and wow - very cool. A nice looking product. Will have to put that on the wish list (after side pipes and new tranny... lol)
I can't tell you how many times from the simple fact of raise car. Unbolt some stuff. Lower car to reach the other stuff. Raise car to finish underneath.
Ramps and stands would take forever to get back down and up again.
