I might as well as well ask another question or two while I'm waiting for the new heater core to be delivered. Is the flap in the picture below supposed to be closed (pushed out) or open (pushed in) while the heater is turned on? I know the flap is part of the AC system and I can tell it's supposed to be vacuum controlled, but the previous owner left everything a mess behind the dash.
