:seeya Any ignition switch controlled 12 volts should do. If you've got a volt meter they're pretty easy to find. :smash: once you've found a source, you can use one of those handy little wire, clamp, squeezy, splice things to make the connection. :jester ( I obviously don't know their technical name, but you see them used for splicing trailer lights to your car lights) :seeya
My choke is hooked up to the alternator. This way it gets power when the engine is running. The ignition is ok, but why would you need it if the car isn't running?
Other options are the power wire for the wipers, but I would mess with wiper wiring and this wire will be hot with the key in the ignition position when the car isn't running.
Many topics in the archive on this, just do a search on 'electric choke'.
Good luck...
