Any recommendations for a machine shop in Dutchess County NY ?

This forum casts a pretty broad net and maybe someone out there has an opinion.

I've been out of this a while and the only place I ever used went out of business years ago.

thanks

Call Jim Glass, at Jim Glass Corvette in Kingston NY. I know Jim uses Ralph Barassi for both his race car and street/restoration engine builds, but I don't know the name or location of Ralph's shop. You can reach Jim at 845-331-5666, you can tell him you got his number from Glenn Brown.

You could also check with Paul at The Corvette Shop in Montgomery NY (Paulywannafly on the Corvette Forum). I'm sure Paul has someone he knows and trusts in the area too. Paul's number is 845-567-0500.

the most important decision you will make about your motor,
is the machine shop you select. Do not select the shop based upon lowest price..
good luck on your selection.

I met Jim Glass last year and he mentioned a shop in Pok. You jogged my memory - it's R & R Automotive Machine. They're local to me and having seen Jim's shop and some of his work I will definitely check it out.

Thanks
