Default -69 350 exhaust problem?

I receive aftermarket exhaust system 2.5"

I'dont know why but it' s seems so hard to assemble exhausts to my car.

I make modifications to 2" transmission hanger and i was okay with front sections but then i notice that passenger side is still way lower than drivers side.Is this normal?

I have orginal heat riser on passenger side... is this the cause? I tried to take riser off but the angle is way off then.

Hope you understand something. i don't speak english so good

I have found that Corvette exhaust does run lower off the floor boards that all other GM steel bodied cars.

Hi 69TF,
Even though your original exhaust was 2" in diameter the 2 1/2" should fit well.
The original engine in your car had the heat riser on the right side exhaust manifold.
Is the passenger's low the entire way or is it just at one point that it seems low.
Original 2 1/2" pipes were 'flattened' at the point they pass below the differential for extra clearance.
Are your pipes flattened?
Who did you purchase the exhaust system from?
Could you post a photo of what you're seeing?
Regards,
Alan

Had a similar problem with my 69/427. Also changed to a 2,5" system (swapped the hanger) and the new pipes on one side did not fit (cant remember which side). So I ended up adjusting the pipe with a pipe bender (with good result).
