Thoughts on the handling effect of the spreader bar install? I am always amazed by folks who put a front spreader bar on and then say the result was not that noticeable..If you don't notice a BIG difference, something in the install is wrong.....

I can not tell you at this point as I have been doing a frame off Restro Mod for the last few years.

Your car is the model for what mine will eventually be. What brand tires do you recommend for down here in Texas where it is almost ALWAYS summer, will NEVER see snow? Under $200 each would be a bonus...

I installed Van Steels a few months ago. No welding needed and I am running an engine driven fan. I have about a 1/4 inch clearance between the WP pulley and the bar. I did notice an increase in steering feel and response. I did not notice a difference in stiffness of the front end. It has to be better though.

Unfortunately I have Kuhmo ESCTA SPT ultra high performance summer only tires ZR (W Rated) that I do not think made any longer in that size in that model tire. There a lots of choices in other tire brands....

Had it in the shop the last few weeks, while the frame was technically within specs, there was no room to do an alignment correctly. Had them pull the frame out enough to get my alignment correct and no more white knuckling it due to pavement crown.
