Default '69 questions

Have some questions What was the difference in the optional side exhaust in the '69 SB and BB and were different manifolds used. also what is the correct key letter for a late '69 ignition key.

Yes, I believe different manifolds as the side muffler pipe were 2" and 2.5".

Hi 69,
The optional side exhaust systems used the standard exhaust manifolds for 69 sb and bb engines.
The head pipe for each side exhaust is different in size and configuration…. 2"(sb) and 2-1/2"(bb)…. but the muffler and exhaust tip was the same for both systems.

I believe the ignition key for 69 cars was rectangular in shape and had a key-way stamped "E".
