Default Auto vs. Manual Rochester Carb Differences?

Looking for a rebuildable Quadrajet core for my 69 4speed 350. Should I only look for M/T carbs or will an A/T carb work and what would need to be changed (if anything)? Thanks! Rick

The AT carbs have provision on the throttle lever for a kickdown cable. The MT carbs have that lower portion of the throttle lever cut off. The two carbs are otherwise interchangeable.

That's a bit of a relief since the A/T carbs seem to be more plentiful. Thanks Lars, Rick
