Default Pulley troubles

So I went to a local speed shop and got a crank pulley that should fit my engine. I put it on and realized the steering pump is too far out for the belt to line up with the outer ridge of the new crank pulley. I'm not sure what to get now



And my old one:
(The extension piece is warped which is why I was intending to replace the pulley. Maybe I should just replace the extension it's self and re-use the 2-groove base pulley?)

Default 3rd pulley part number?

Does your third pulley have a part number engraved or cast on it? If it does then it should be relatively easy to locate another.

Most small block Chevy engine applications, usually use the smaller diameter, crank add on pulley, to drive the power steering pump.

63-74 small blocks used GM pulley 3751232, and 75-82's used pulley 346290, later replaced with pulley number 14023153. The "232" pulley is still available from Chevrolet for about $55, but I think the 75-82 "153" pulley has recently been discontinued.

If you want to keep the new pulley, you will have to 'move' the P/S pump so it will line up. Do the other belts line up OK? If not, take the "wrong" pulley back to the yahoo that sold it to you.

Then, if the add-on pulley is distorted, buy a replacement for just that.
