Default NOS ecm

Guys,
i have come across a NOS ecm for my 82... GM part# 1225550.

would it still work after all these years? I'd just need to install a new prom.

Thanks

Just take the chip out of yours, and install it in the new one. Should work fine.

I guess you can't hurt anything by trying it. As long as it was stored in a dry place it should be good. Worst case scenario you burn out your prom and then you can by a new one through Hypertec.
