Hey guys, I've rebuilt my quadrajet and it runs better than before, but I still have a couple weird stumbles at low RPM (and occasionally at higher RPM). One of the only things I didn't replace was the accelerator pump. I plan to purchase one from Cliff's High Performance since his are proven to work in fuel with higher ethanol levels. He sells a Standard and a High Performance. How do I know which one I need? My engine isn't stock (Brodix aluminum heads, Lunati 268 cam, performer RPM intake), but I would necessarily call it high performance either.

You can buy the alcohol resistant pump from NAPA. It's blue in color.
GM sells a spring to go on top of the check ball to get a good seal to make sure there is no back flow. I used them on all rebuilds. #17083343. also I tapped the ball into seat with a small punch
I'm not sure what a high-performance accelerator pump is???
I definitely would go with the ethanol-capable seal; I've seen several with common synthetic rubber that absorbed the ethanol, swelled up and just fell off the piston. Then you had NO accelerator pump action to assist with starts or WOT actions.
