1968-1969 Corvette Camaro Chevelle Heads L88 L89 Aluminum Snowflake Heads, did all heads have a date code? I have a set #3919842 and there is no date code. I didn't think there are any aftermarket, so I think they are originals.

Reason: Dkid fiifh the question
If they are aftermarket, they probably wouldn't have the Winters logo or GM casting number. Maybe they were originally bought at a Chevy parts department??? These on ebay have no dates, http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-1969-Ch...ZZdPNz&vxp=mtr
All things equal regarding condition, for a restorer, no, properly dated parts are worth more, especially when those dates are visible without removing parts. OEM service replacement parts are second. Whether they are a 'close' second or a distant second gets complicated. Watch eBay closed auctions for a while. You will see a pattern develop. I have no personal insight into your specific parts. Good luck.
