Default Replacing crank sensor .
I just purchased a 86 Iroc with a rebuild 350 vortec. Started leaking oil from the bottom from of the motor. I have been told it is a crank sensor. Oil pressure drops when I'm not pressing on the gas. I can see where the oil is leaking from and can touch it, feels like a loose rubber filling. Can someone help me figure this out? New to this and to working on cars. Got an older car to help me learn.

you do realize this is a Corvette forum and the area you posted in is for 68 to 82 vehicles which did not use crank sensors.
