Default Door tag identification question

Does this tag represent the correct paint and interior? This is a 1977 L-48, light blue metallic paint with black interior. I'm trying to gather as much information about this cars history as possible mainly for my own entertainment. Not having much luck other than the cars "birthday" (August 3rd 1977)

Yes, that's correct..With cloth inserts. It's also been repainted.

That color is pretty cool in my opinion.

Hi M,
The stamp pad on the engine will offer a little more information about the car since one of the stamps is from the engine plant.
That stamp will indicate at which plant the engine was assembled (very likely Flint), the date, (month and day), on which the engine was assembled, and the original configuration the engine was built in (a 'suffix code'.

The pad is located in front of the right side cylinder head.

Regards,
Alan

Here's an example of where to look for the stamp pad.

Actually your trim tag date code M04 tells us its actual body build date is August 04 vs the "birthday book" "estimated date of 8/3/77. This is the date the trim tag was riveted to the completed painted body and before the chassis was married to the body.
