HELP!! Can I bypass battery junction box?
I was wondering if I can bypass the battery compartment junction box and hook both cables straight to the battery. I had a corroded connector and the junction and it melted it,

Hi T,
I believe typically:
The negative connection is a short cable that bolts to the frame just under the battery box.
The positive connection is the long cable that runs forward directly to the starter.
I'm not sure why the junction in your photo was added… was it part of a disconnect?

Yes you can just connect this straight to the battery. Or you can buy a replacement junction block.
