Default c3 front brake disks

I just ordered a front disk bake rotor from Car Qwest here in Canada and they are telling me it does not have rivette holes to attach it to the hub. is this a new design or am I getting the wrong disk? TIA

That's just an extra machining process that's not really needed.

Hi z,
Originally the hub was riveted to the rotor to secure it.

Alan

They did that because the hub/rotor assy was secured that way, and machines out for near zero lateral runout.....and did not have the assy line guys trying to get it done and messing it up....

today we have to be damn careful in our runout settings.....

try different orientations on the hub, and maybe do some shimming, I use tin foil for shim material, raid the wife's stock.....
