When I take off the t-tops and turn them around I can hear something moving around inside them? Sounds like small screws...could it be that or maybe some rust pieces?
Anyone else had the same problem?
Are there any holes on the t-tops where you could let out that "stuff" from?

Sometimes when the weather strip is change if the person doing the replacement is not careful the tabs that hold the weather strip to the t-top can break off and end up inside the t-top. There is no simple way that I know to remove them without making a suitable size hole for them to fall out.
Hi c,
Added: Rick posted while I was looking for the photo!
If the weatherstripping has been replaced it might be the broken nylon 'pins' you're hearing… or it could be a pop rivet if any of the velcro fastener discs have been replaced.
There's no hole large enough to get the pieces out.
You can CAREFULLY drill a hole in a location that is covered by the interior soft trim piece if you wish.
last time I looked I think mine has the Velcro fasteners riveted to the top. you may be able to drill the rivets out and remove the Velcro retainer.you would have to re rivet them back in. take a look next time you have the t tops off.
In my case the rattling was from pieces of the captured nut cages for the weatherstrip channel screws on the outer edge that had rusted apart over the years. Replacing those is not fun and will require some access holes as described and being creative to get new hardware in there.
