where is gearing stamped on 69 corvette rear end?
1969 corvette rear end is not the original and i need to know how to tell what ratio it is? I have trans out to change the drive gear that has come loose. So need to replace with correct one! Thanks Matt.

There is a code stamped into the bottom of the diff case adjacent to the cover. It will be be dates and a two digit letter code for 69, 3 letter code for 1970 and up.
