I installed the Rostra [electronic] cruise control on my '71 coupe. It came with a little switch-pad that I mounted on the left side of the trans tunnel (ahead of my knee, so I wouldn't diddle with it by accident).
Later, I installed a Rostra turn-signal/cruise switch in place of the regular turn lever. But, I had to be 'creative' to get that done. It works fine and looks fine...but it was a bit of work to accomplish.
The Rostra unit is great. Switch-pad or lever actuated will work, but the lever mounted switch is much more convenient.
It looks pretty much like the mid-70's levers with cruise in most GM cars. But, it took some creativity to get it that way. If I knew how to work my [new] 'smart'-phone and the C3 wasn't "napping" up on my lift, I'd be glad to send a photo. But....
