Question for my peeps.
New glass spring and I'm wondering if I need to remove that spacer above the spring. Or put in a smaller one. Notice my bolt threads don't go past the diff.they are even with the top. Also it looks like I may need longer bolts to get the ride height down. But I'm wondering if that spacer is the problem.

No idea about the spacer but I can tell you that if the bolts are even with the top of the differential then you will not gain anything by having them go past it. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the spring?

Looks to be a VBand P spring , they all come with the big and small spacers . Have you driven the car around some to help settle it down some more ?
normal to have some threads showing below the cast housing .
Is that spacer not there for a reason? Like to prevent abrasion between the spring and the differential?
I have seen different ones installed .Some composite ones come with different thicknesses .I plan to put a thin 1/8 thick one on mine instead of the one like in picture .So I am wondering how it will look also .
Just thinking if you cut spring will it raise it more because it has changed spring tension.
