Default 1975 front spoiler

My 1975 driver that I bought earlier this year came sans front spoiler. This is what’s the front of the front fender looks like.

I see that Wilcox offers two different styles of front spoiler. Not sure which one was stock. I think I would prefer the one that does not come up around the front of the fender but if that means painting it then I would not mind putting on something that would cover up of this original blue paint at least for now. I would appreciate any thoughts people have on the spoilers that they have put on their cars.

Thanks

Scott

My '75 didn't have a front spoiler. Would like to see a picture of one with it

Scott,

The factory spoiler didn't come up that high... I don't know what they had on there unless it was possibly a pace car style or aftermarket spoiler. Below is a picture of the factory spoiler and as you can tell it didn't go up that high.

The picture below is of a pace car style spoiler and again as you can see it was wider than the factory style and came up higher, but still didn't go up that high on the car. I suspect someone put an aftermarket style spoiler on the car at one time.

Thanks, I saw both on your website, if you look in my shopping car you can see the factory spoiler and installation kit.

My 75 doesn't have a spoiler either but it does have an air dam to direct airflow up towards the front of the radiator.

After looking at the mounting hole and the paint lines, I'm inclined to believe it was a pace car spoiler that was on your car.

Some of the aftermarket spoilers that I've seen attach to the back of the fender lip, not along the outer edge like yours.
