Default Power seat help

Alright, so after a day of reseach, i've discovered that 80% of 82 corvettes came with DRIVER power seat tracks... I have manual seat tracks on both of my seats, and the manual seat tracks will not bolt in the driver side, and I assume it's because they aren't meant to go there, so maybe I need a I need a power seat track? But I want to be sure, I need the measurement between the power seat track's bolting holes

Length between seat bolt holes in floor pan—
Driver: 12inches (won't fit)(manual seat tracks)
Passenger: 19 inches (perfect fit) (manual seat tracks)

Alright guys, I'm tired. I am ready to order my power seat tracks. All I need is for an 81-82 corvette owner with a driver power seat to tell me the distance between the power seat track bolt holes in their power seat track rails. That way I can be sure I'm ordering the correct part.
I know it's alot of work man, but help a brother out

I'm only 18, this is my first car, I'm tryna fix her up and impress my ex to possibly get back with her!
Well.. I'm happy enough with my car xD
Can anyone give me the length please?

I thought I saw another thread about this?

Easy Mike replied that the floor boards were different for the power seats. Maybe earlier years.

Shoot him a private message.

Post a pic of your driver's seat. It should show provision for the switch.

C64,

IF in your driver side floor board you have has FOUR holes...then that is why your manual track will not 'bolt-up'....because the power seat tracks are NOT bolted to the floor pans..they have threaded studs on them and they go through these four holes and you use large washer nuts from UNDER the car to secure them to the floor pans.

The reason the passenger side did fine is due to GM did not make a passenger side power seat.

FWIW: Go here http://www.corvettemuseum.org/learn/...ndow-stickers/ and see if you can get a copy of the build sheet for your 82. The build sheet will list the power driver's seat option if it was originally installed on your car.
