How much more info can be viewed from a scanner vs just reading the the cel light flashes?
Just curious....

Oxy sensor voltage, throttle position voltage, egr function, a few others. That's on an 81. I am sure 82 has more.

theres a difference between a code reader and a scanner.code reader tells you the fault .a scanner can show you in real time what info the sensors are sending the computer.iac, map, rpm,tps,o2,and knock count . if you can see if the readings are out of spec ,,,,well theres your problem.

The list shows 82.
No 81.
Does the 82 program work on 81?

Has anyone tried an OBDI to OBDII adapter? I've got a nice OBDII cable I used with my old Audi, and it'd be nice to just have to download software and buy the adapter...
