Hey guys Im putting back my engine while it’s out of the car and I am Using the GM serpentine kit off the Gen II Small block. So I went To bolt up the crank pulley and the 3 surrounding the crank bolt are not threading, probably because it isn’t made for that balance. What would you guys recommend? Get a different balancer, use the bolts from when I took The engine apart, or rethread the balancer. It’s my first time doing this so I’m stuck.

GM used SAE (fine) thread bolts in Chevrolet balancers- Nothing wrong with the bolts you took out of the original, provided they are long enough to correctly engage the balancer thru your new pulley.
