Composite Spring identification
I got a great deal on a composite spring. No gouges, cracks, chips or anything. The only problem is neither the seller or me knows what the spring rate is. It looks identical to the one sold by Ecklers. (2002 spring/summer catalog, page 120, bottom of the page, part #A71XX). There are no stickers or legible markings on it. Does anyone know if it's possible to determine the spring rate by measurements or anything else? Ecklers was less than helpful when I called them.

You could try asking the great people at Muskegon Brake. I believe they make the springs right there. It's going to be real tough without a number.
