1968 C3 won't start
My wiper and wiper door were not working and I turned on the wiper and the wipers are now stuck in the open position. Turning the wipers on no longer does anything.
I went to start the car however it doesn't crank. The power windows, radio and interior lights work. Battery is sitting at 12.6 volts.
Are the wipers some how related to the car not cranking? What should I look at to get the car to start?
Thanks
no, the wipers don't have anything to do with starting, have you tested for 12 volts at the starter solenoid, may be clutch switch(if stick): if automatic, is in park or neutral: NEED to check some things before asking for help. Is the car new to you?? have any mechanical abilities, have a good friend that do have some??

Check around for a corvette club, someone there can help you work on your car.
where are you located, someone on here might be able to come by and help.

I replied to your question about you car not starting in your other thread.
You might want to look there too.
"There are several electrical 'fusible' links in the engine harness... one at the hon relay on the left side apron, one at the rear of the engine near the distributor/wiper motor and one at the starter.
Do you know what they look like and how to locate them?"

Alan
