Removing poly locks
Hey guys I'm taking a engine apart that has poly locks. Could someone share the procedure?

While holding the HEX NUT portion of the poly-lock with a good box end wrench so it will not turn.. Use the Allen wrench and loosen the Allen set screw. That is it.
Do not be surprised if it pops rather loudly when you get the torque to release off the Allen set screw.
Reverse the procedure when tightening them.

you can find a video on setting valve lash with Allen poly lock rocker arms
The best thing is T handle allens and a box end wrench

The T handle didn't cut it. I had to use a regular with a tap from a hammer

Someone over-tightened them. A good twist with a T-wrench will lock them down just fine.

YEP...and what is kinda funny. When you go and tighten the Allen set screw and NOT tighten the heck out of it. If You go back and remove it.. It will also let loose with a 'pop'....and seem that you are using a lot more effort to get it to loosen than what you used to get it tight.
