Default Kick panel problem

Hi, Doing an interior restoration on my 1975 L82 coupe.Passenger side kick panel wont fit.vaccum canister in the way.air conditioned car. are all kick panels the same.Hope you can help . Thanks.

Hi m,
The 75 Assembly Instruction Manual gives instructions on how the regular production kick panel is to be cut/modified to fit properly on a car with air conditioning.
It's shown sheet 49 in Section B01-B012.
